Annual Bulk Pickup for Tuesday trash customers
The annual bulk pickup will be held on Tuesday, May 28th for customers who normally have their garbage collected on Tuesdays. The bulk cleanup is provided for City residential garbage customers only. Commercial or dumpster customers are not eligible. Residents may place out for collection larger amounts of materials. Each residential unit may place out for pickup an amount of materials equal to the volume of a pickup truck bed or the hopper of the City's rear-loaded garbage truck. Material excluded include any appliances with Freon based refrigerants, tires, batteries, paint or other chemicals or hazardous materials prohibited in the Solid Waste Ordinance. There shall be no fee for the annual bulk pickup, unless the amount set out by a resident exceeds the volume set forth above. If a residence has more than the amount permitted, a special pickup charge shall be billed to the property owner. If any resident has questions, please call the Street Department at 301-689-6111 or the City Administrator at 301-689-6000, ext 25. |
