"Educated Miners" is the theme of a 2010 calendar available as a fundraiser for Frostburg's 2012 Bicentennial Celebration. Barbara Armstrong, chair of the Bicentennial Planning Committee stated, "With our first rundraiser actually getting started, we feel that this puts us on the road to the Bicentennial." The calendars are available for donations fo the celebration. A $25.00 donation brings one calendar, with $45.00 bringing two and $60.00 bringing three. An additional calendar will be provided for each $15.00 above $60.00.
