Message from the Mayor
We are extremely pleased to welcome you to our web site for the City of Frostburg, Maryland. We hope that you will visit our community in person to experience its small town charm. Our citizens are very proud of their heritage and efforts to preserve the best of our past as we embrace the opportunities of the future.
The Mayor and members of the City Council are working to promote the redevelopment of our Main Street shopping district as well as seeking opportunities to meet the needs of the ever growing Frostburg State University. In addition, we are an important stop along The Great Allegheny Passage between Pittsburgh and Cumberland, as well as the western terminus of the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad.
We invite you to visit and enjoy the experience of shopping, dining, relaxing, and, perhaps, living in Frostburg. We are certain you will return again and again.
W. Robert Flanigan, Mayor
