Frostburg Rifle/Pistol Range

Located west of Frostburg at Clifton Terrace just off US Rt. 40, the Frostburg Rifle Range has four 100yd covered firing lanes with three bench rests, one 200yd covered firing lane with a bench rest, and a covered, five lane, 25-meter pistol range.  Public hours are the 1st and 3rd weekends of every month from 11am to 4pm from March through November.  Range officers are provided on public days through and agreement with the Big Savage Sportsmens Club.  They are happy to assist and provide instruction for beginning or novice shooters.  The club also hosts a "Handgun Day" each Spring and Fall to allow the public to stop by the range and learn about handguns as well as handle and fire a variety of handguns provided by Queen City Armory and Savage Mountain Tactical.
